Löy is based in Los Angeles, but our roots trace back to Finland—the birthplace of sauna and the spirit of löyly, the steam that rises when water meets hot stones. Many cultures have their own rituals of heat and cold, but it’s the Finnish sauna that taught us the art of slowing down, reconnecting, and finding balance.

Our mission is simple: to share what real sauna is, to create moments that bring people together, and to elevate the experience through nature, aroma, and design.

It all began in 2005, when we met Miikka from Finland. He introduced us to the quiet strength of sauna culture—its connection to nature and its power to restore the body and mind. Sauna, we learned, isn’t an indulgence; it’s a way of life.
